BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Nimrod Nyakanyanga is a non-executive director. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators. Nimrod also holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) degree from the University of Zimbabwe. Nimrod has extensive business management experience acquired in industry and commerce, the financial services sector and International Development.
Wendy Chingeya is a non-executive director of the company and chair of the board of directors. Wendy is a seasoned practicing lawyer who is committed to social justice. This commitment has seen her getting involved in some public interest cases of wide social importance. Wendy is a holder of an LLB degree from the University of Zimbabwe.
Lewis Tendai Madafi is a non-executive director of the company. Lewis is an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and a member of the Institute if Internal Auditors. Lewis has extensive experience in risk management and internal controls within the financial services sector.
MANAGEMENT
Michael Jera is the current CEO of Wisrod Investments. He has wide-ranging experience in the areas of credit management, microfinance, SME finance, and strategic management. He holds a Master of Science Degree in Strategic Management from Chinhoyi University of Technology, a Business Studies Honours Degree in Finance and Banking and an Executive Certificate in Credit Management from University of Zimbabwe. Michael has been phenomenal in most aspects of Wisrod’s success.
Peter Kiropasi is a seasoned accountant. Prior to joining Wisrod as the Finance Manager, Peter started his career in Government Ministries as a Controller and Auditor General in 1990. He then moved to Dairibord Zimbabwe Limited in 1991 where served as Internal Auditor and was promoted to Assistant Regional Accountant and then rose to Regional Accountant in 2003. In 2008, he moved to NFB Logistics (Pvt) Ltd (Subsidiary of Dairibord Holdings as a Financial Controller. His areas of expertise include leadership, financial planning, reporting, modelling, treasury, risk management and strategic planning. He is a holder of a Bachelor of Accountancy Honours from University of Zimbabwe and a Project Management Certificate from Project Management Institute of Zimbabwe.
Prior to joining Wisrod Investments, she was the accounting manager at SEEDCO Zimbabwe reporting directly to the finance director where she had also previously served as the financial accountant. Mrs Motsi has also served as the assistant financial controller at Surgimed Trading (Pvt) Limited, a company specialising in medical and surgical supplies for half a decade. Mrs Motsi is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and is a holder of a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with the Zimbabwe Open University.
Keith has substantial experience in driving microfinance to great and sustainable performance. He is a holder of a Bachelor of Commerce Accounting Honours Degree, from the Midlands State University in Zimbabwe, Master of Commerce in Accounting Degree with Midlands State University, and an Executive Certificate in Credit Management from the University of Zimbabwe. He began his career as a credit officer in 2013 and was elevated to regional manager in 2016 at Wisrod, where he has been instrumental in implementing credit management models and effective collection methods.
Lee is a microfinance practitioner who has more than a decade of experience gained in Zimbabwe and Zambia. He has held various notable positions in the microfinance sector, He joined the Wisrod team in 2020. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Business Management from Midlands State University, Executive Diploma in Credit Management from National University of Science and Technology and a Certificate in Digital Money from Digital Frontiers Institute.
Everngelista studied Business Studies majoring in Human resources management at Bindura University of Science Education. She has extensive experience in microfinance development. Eve has proven experience in the areas of credit management, marketing and human resources management. She joined Wisrod Investment as an assistant credit officer, at Wisrod Masvingo branch in 2015, and she then rose to be a credit officer in June 2015 and a regional manager in 2019. She has been instrumental in Portfolio growth as well as staff trainings at Wisrod.
Prudence is Certified Expert in Microfinance from Frankfurt Business School. She is a holder of an Economics Honours Degree from Bindura University of Science Education and a Master of Science in Strategic Management from Chinhoyi University of Technology. Prudence has vast experience in the financial services sector spanning over 6years. She joined Wisrod as credit officer in 2013 and was promoted to a regional Manager in May 2015. She has wide-ranging experience in the areas of credit management, microfinance, and agricultural finance.
Prior to joining Wisrod Patience has worked in real estate and in parastatal. She holds a degree in Media Studies and a Master’s in Business Administration both from Zimbabwe Open University. She has been a part of the Wisrod team since February 2016 where she joined the organization as a collector and rose to the position of Regional Manager.
Justice joined Wisrod in 2014 as a credit officer and rose through the ranks over the years. Justice holds a Bachelor of commerce degree in Economics, Master of Science in Finance, and an executive certificate in Microfinance from NUST.
Rumbidzai joined Wisrod in 2017 as a collector and has since risen to the position of Regional Manager. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree in Accounting from ZEGU, and she is currently studying towards a master’s in accounting with NUST. Before joining Wisrod, Rumbi worked in the finance department of the Ministry of Health.

Vimbai Joined Wisrod Investments in May 2016 as a collector and was promoted to Regional Manager in 2021. Vimbai has worked in various NGOs including Government. Vimbai is a holder of an Honours Degree in Peace and Governance from Bindura University. She also has an Executive Certificate in Microfinance and Entrepreneurship from NUST.
